This culminated in the acquisition of Lancaster-based Sage Occupational Health in 2018, giving our company a strong presence across all North West England.

Adrian Mercer

Managing director

Managing director with over 20 years experience of clinical delivery and management of health needs of individuals and employees. Formed and developed companies in a variety of industries and has broad expertise in company management.

Elaine Molloy

Business Director

Elaine has worked in occupational health for many years, holding senior roles with national occupational health and wellbeing organisations. She has extensive experience of understanding the occupational health needs of our varying client base and the requirements of new customers, their needs and timely business implementation. Elaine has a first class honors degree in business with qualifications in accounting and project management.

Angela Mackay-Fowler

Occupational Health Advisor

Angela is a SCPHN – OH registered Occupational Health Adviser, has a HAVS qualification for T3 assessments and boasts over 25 years’ experience in Occupational Health in a variety of different sectors including Engineering, Manufacturing, Retail, Nuclear, Higher Education, Local Authority and NHS settings and Hospice settings.

Deborah Lewis

Occupational Health Advisor

Deborah is an experienced nurse with over 20 years of experience in both the public and private sector. She has a special interest in Complex case management, mental health & health promotion. She is currently studying at Robert Gordon University for a BSc in Occupational Health.

Penny Cox

Occupational Health Advisor

Occupational Health Advisor, Penny is an experienced RGN who has been with FOHCUS for a number of years. She is often out of clinic performing health surveillance but is also interested in absence management.

Astrid Gibbs

Occupational Health Advisor

Astrid has over 16 years of Occupational Health experience as an Occupational Health Advisor. She has a first class honours degree in Occupational Health nursing, is SCPHN qualified and has a HAVS qualification for T3 assessments. She has experience of working in a variety of occupational sectors, including local authority, manufacturing, nuclear and pharmaceuticals.

Jane Thomson

Occupational Health Advisor

Jane Thomson is an Occupational Health Advisor with a wealth of nursing experience in a variety of settings. Jane primarily provides health surveillance clinics and has a keen interest in health promotion. Jane is a registered nurse with a diploma in occupational health nursing and has a HAVS qualification for T3 assessments.

Karen Gillibrand

Occupational Health Advisor

Karen has worked in Occupational Health for over 20 years as an Occupational Health Advisor and with Management experience. She is Nurse practitioner (SCPHN) qualified, with an Honours degree in Community Health and was previously a Nurse practitioner in Head and Neck Nursing. She has experience of working in a variety of Occupational sectors; including health care, education, construction, engineering retail, local authority, waste management, manufacturing and civil service. She has a special interest in Mental Health and ENT: including hearing loss.

Ellie Nelson

Occupational Health Advisor

Ellie has worked as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) in the field of Occupational Health for over twenty seven years having gained an honours degree in Community Health. Over the years working in a variety of clinical based roles, she has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in a wide cross section of industries both in the private and public sector, including working in house, for a healthcare provider and as an independent practitioner.

Jonathon Marsden

Service Manager

Jonathon ensures that the service runs smoothly, he manages the operations of the company including client management and accounts. He understands different organisational needs and ensures that customer satisfaction is always achieved. Jonathon has BA Hons in Business Studies and has a keen interest in customer service, finance and operations.

Claire Harman

Occupational Health Administrator

Claire is an experienced administrator who has worked in the healthcare sector for a number of years. She inputs the health surveillance clinics and produces the certificates along with booking appointments for the adhoc case management clinics.

Sarah Mulliner

Occupational Health Secretary

Occupational Health Secretary and Administrator with over 25 years experience within the medical and health field. An experienced typist producing occupational health reports and health surveillance certificates for clients, as well as providing general admin support.
